Valentina Busik Crowned Miss Germany 2025 for Advancing AI in Healthcare

The 27-year-old dermatologist was chosen by public vote for her work using AI to improve medical communication and patient care.

Valentina Busik, a dermatologist from Gießen, was named Miss Germany 2025 in a competition emphasizing social impact over traditional beauty standards.
Busik developed an AI-powered avatar that translates complex medical information into 40 languages, including sign language, to assist patients in understanding diagnoses and treatments.
The competition, rebranded in 2019, now highlights women making significant contributions to society, focusing this year on women in business and the workforce.
For the first time, the public had the final vote in selecting the winner, with Busik prevailing over eight other finalists in categories like Female Founder and Female Mover.
The event marked its last year at Europa-Park in Rust, with plans to relocate to a larger city for its 100th anniversary in 2027.
