Overview

  • Applications are open until October 29, 2025, coinciding with the first anniversary of the DANA storm.
  • Farmers aged 18–40 qualify for a base subsidy of €30,000 that can increase to €80,000 while those aged 41–56 can receive up to €70,000.
  • Additional tranches of €10,000 or €20,000 reward cooperative membership, acquisition of abandoned land, creation of multiple work units and mixed farming operations.
  • The package is integrated with EU FEADER funds and regional measures such as a 60% cut in the Impuesto de Transmisiones Patrimoniales and the elimination of the inheritance tax.
  • The initiative aims to tackle demographic ageing, reverse land abandonment exacerbated by the October 2024 floods and promote sustainable agriculture across the Comunidad Valenciana.
