Overview
- The Medio Maratón Valencia is scheduled to start at 8:25 and follows a 21-kilometre route that crosses northern neighbourhoods, the old Turia riverbed, the city centre, the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias and the seafront before returning to Tarongers.
- As a preparatory measure the Ayuntamiento will close both directions of Avenida de Tarongers between V21 and Enginyer Fausto Elio from Friday at 22:00 to assemble the start and finish structures.
- During the race a series of streets and access points along the course will be cut, with key closures expected at Paseo de la Petxina, San Francesc de Borja, Gran Vía Marqués del Turia, Blasco Ibáñez and the Alameda.
- EMT Valencia has announced the suspension of bus lines C1, 19, 31, 40, C2, 92, 93, 94 and 95 for the duration of the event and warned that some other services may face diversions.
- Organisers advise participants and residents to use Metrovalencia stops (Aragó, Amistat, Facultats or Benimaclet), take EMT lines C3, 99 or 71 where possible and consult the Ayuntamiento app and website for full maps, timings and live updates to reduce disruption near UPV and UV campuses.
