Valencia Extends Kameron Taylor Through 2027–28

The club locked in a primary wing whose EuroLeague scoring and three-point shooting were central to Valencia's first domestic double and who is set to shoulder a bigger role as the squad reshapes.

Overview

  • Valencia Basket announced it has extended Kameron Taylor's contract through the end of the 2027–28 season, confirming he will remain with the club for both EuroLeague and Liga Endesa play.
  • Taylor averaged 11.8 points per game in the EuroLeague with a 38.7% three-point rate, plus 4.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists and a performance index rating of 13.6, numbers that underpinned the club's decision to retain him.
  • In 2025–26 he was Valencia's second-leading scorer and second-highest rated player, appearing in 76 games with 64 starts and helping the team win the Liga Endesa and the Supercopa de Endesa.
  • Several players have left or appear likely to leave the roster, including Jean Montero, Darius Thompson and Brancou Badio, which opens room for Taylor to take on more minutes, on-court leadership and playmaking responsibility.
  • Taylor, a 31-year-old wing who returned to top European competition after a 2021–22 stint at Maccabi Tel Aviv, now provides Valencia with continuity and a proven two-way option as the club rebuilds its core.
