Overview

  • The Entidad Valenciana de Vivienda y Suelo signed off on six public parcels for a permuta regime to fund the new developments in El Puig de Santa María, Manises and Valencia.
  • Private builders will exchange future construction work for land rights, with 40% of each project reserved for residents under 35 years old.
  • El Puig will host the bulk of the scheme with 264 units, while Manises and Valencia are each slated to receive around 25 homes.
  • Final ratification by the Consell is pending, and groundwork under the Plan Vive framework is due to start shortly.
  • This move follows more than 1,850 protected homes tendered in 2024 and over 2,000 scheduled for execution in 2025 to address acute housing shortages.
