Valencia and Granada Unveil Free Programs for European Researchers' Night on Sept. 26

EU-backed outreach events highlight hands-on science for families with expanded participation from regional institutes.

Overview

  • In Valencia, the Jardines de Viveros will host around 30 interactive workshops spanning fields from biomedicine to technology, organized by UPV, INCLIVA, Fisabio, Universitat de València and the CSIC regional delegation.
  • Valencia’s activities are free with morning sessions for schools from 10:00 to 13:30 and open public access from 17:00 to 20:00.
  • Granada’s edition will feature 31 stands and more than 200 activities coordinated by the University of Granada across Granada, Ceuta and Melilla.
  • New Granada participants include Fundación Medina plus CSIC centers IACT and IGME-CSIC, and the program adds a six-stand KID CORNER focused on children.
  • The Researchers’ Night forms part of Horizon Europe across 400+ cities, with related local programming such as Valencia’s Sept. 23 Ciencia y Cañas and CaixaForum València events running through Sept. 28.
