Overview
- The Generalitat Valenciana’s 134-person device features 13 fire engines, five water tenders, a drone unit, communications, mechanical and logistics teams alongside AVSRE and BRIFO personnel.
- The Govern de les Illes Balears will send 50 personnel including firefighters, emergency and telecom technicians, environment agents, medical staff and civil-protection volunteers for a weeklong mission from August 19 to 26.
- Both contingents respond to a formal request from the Junta de Castilla y León and will integrate into existing firefighting command structures upon reaching the region.
