Vail Resorts Rolls Out Month-Ahead Lift-Ticket Discounts at 12 Major Mountains

Vail is courting late planners by tying discounted day tickets to a credit toward next season's Epic Pass.

Overview

  • Tickets average about 30% off when purchased at least four weeks ahead, with Jan. 5, 2026 as the first eligible ski day.
  • The offer covers Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Crested Butte, Park City, Whistler Blackcomb, Heavenly, Northstar, Stowe, Okemo and Mount Snow.
  • Savings can exceed $100 per day, with an example off‑peak price of $199 a month ahead versus $259 a week ahead and $307 at the window.
  • Up to $175 of a 2025–26 lift ticket can be applied toward a 2026–27 Epic Pass.
  • Vail reports roughly 75% of visits come from Epic pass holders, most remaining sales are online, and less than 2% occur at ticket windows across a portfolio the NSAA counts at 38 resorts.
