Overview

  • Epic Friend Tickets grant companions 50% off lift access at all 37 North American Vail Resorts destinations, standardizing savings across locations.
  • Eligible pass products include the Epic Pass, Epic Local Pass, Epic Military Pass and Northeast Value Pass, while Epic Day Pass holders are not qualified for the benefit.
  • Qualifying pass holders have begun receiving six or ten tickets based on their purchase date and can redeem them online at EpicPass.com before activating them in the My Epic app.
  • Once a companion uses a ticket, its full cost becomes a credit toward an eligible 2026–27 Epic Pass, incentivizing return visits and future enrollments.
  • Vail Resorts is positioning the initiative as a way to boost social participation and reverse recent softening in season-pass sales before prices rise on September 1.
