Overview

• The exhibition runs from March 21 to November 1, 2026, in the Victoria and Albert Museum’s Sainsbury Gallery.
• More than 200 objects will span the house’s history, including the Skeleton dress, Tears dress and Dalí-designed shoe hat.
• Artworks by Pablo Picasso, Jean Cocteau and Man Ray will sit alongside couture pieces to highlight the brand’s surrealist collaborations.
• Curators will chart Elsa Schiaparelli’s journey from her 1927 founding and wartime closure through its 21st-century revival under Daniel Roseberry.
• Tickets for the retrospective will go on sale in autumn 2025.
