- Curators unveiled a note titled “Memo for radio show — list of favourite records,” written by Bowie and outlining tracks he selected for a broadcast.
- The list features works by Miles Davis, Jeff Beck, Little Richard, The Beatles, Ronnie Spector, Roxy Music and Sonic Youth, among others.
- The David Bowie Centre at the V&A East Storehouse in Stratford opens to the public on Saturday, 13 September.
- Roughly 90,000 archive items will be available through curated cases and the museum’s Order An Object service for one‑to‑one viewings.
- Archive materials also include notes for an unfinished musical called The Spectator, with the display supported by the David Bowie Estate, the Blavatnik Family Foundation and Warner Music Group.
