V-30 Morning Gridlock Snarls València Access With 10-Kilometre Queues

A choke point on the bypass pushed delays onto the A-3 and CV-35, according to DGT.

Overview

  • DGT reported at 7:15 that queues on the V-30 toward València stretched about 10 kilometres from Paterna to Horno de Alcedo.
  • Traffic in the opposite direction on the V-30 reached roughly 4 kilometres near Mislata as the morning peak intensified.
  • Spillover from the V-30 slowdown produced about 2 kilometres of delays on the A-3 at Quart de Poblet and 6 kilometres on the CV-35 from L'Eliana to Mas Camarena, with further hold-ups near Godella.
  • DGT also flagged congestion on the A-7 toward Castelló due to an incident near Bétera, while the V-31 saw dense but lesser queues.
  • A day earlier, a five-vehicle crash on the V-21 near Albuixech and other incidents left about 33 kilometres of jams across main approaches to València, and a separate rollover near Bilbao killed a 44-year-old driver.
