Overview

• Uttarakhand is the first state to implement the Gujarat Vidya Samiksha Kendra (VSK) model, now integrating private schools into the digital monitoring system.
• Approximately 16,000 government and aided schools are already linked to VSK, which tracks enrolment, attendance, academic performance, and teacher training.
• The state has begun constructing 141 PM Shri and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Residential Schools, alongside virtual classrooms and student hostels.
• Scholarships are being awarded to meritorious students, with top performers in grades 10 and 12 offered India tours to foster cultural exposure.
• National-level athletes are being guaranteed government jobs, aligning with the state’s focus on youth development through education and sports.
