Uttar Pradesh's Maha Kumbh Tableau Wins Best at Republic Day Parade 2025

The Ministry of Defence announced Uttar Pradesh as the top tableau, with Tripura and Andhra Pradesh securing second and third places respectively.

Uttar Pradesh's tableau, themed 'Mahakumbh 2025 - Swarnim Bharat: Virasat aur Vikas,' was named the best at the Republic Day Parade 2025.
Tripura's tableau, focusing on 'Eternal Reverence: The Worship of 14 Deities in Tripura - Kharchi Puja,' placed second, while Andhra Pradesh's display on 'Etikoppaka Bommalu - Eco-Friendly Wooden Toys' secured third place.
The Jammu & Kashmir Rifles were recognized as the best marching contingent among the services, while the Delhi Police won in the CAPF/auxiliary forces category.
In the 'Popular Choice' online poll, Gujarat's tableau received the most votes, followed by Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Among central ministries, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and the Ministry of Women & Child Development were awarded for their respective tableaux on tribal heritage and comprehensive welfare schemes.
