Overview

  • On Tulsi Jayanti in Rajapur, CM Yogi Adityanath announced the development of the Ram Van Gaman Marg, Bundelkhand Expressway, integrated tourism circuits and a Yamuna riverfront to bolster regional connectivity and jobs.
  • He said the Bundelkhand Defence Corridor will strengthen India’s deterrence after the BrahMos missile “broke Pakistan’s back” and pledged local youth would form a security bulwark.
  • The government pledged expanded agricultural support through soil testing, crop insurance measures and an environmental drive that included planting Harishankari saplings.
  • Adityanath inaugurated a statue of Goswami Tulsidas, prayed at Tulsi JanmKutir and viewed the original Ramcharitmanas manuscript at Manas Mandir to reinforce Chitrakoot’s spiritual legacy.
  • The chief minister framed the initiatives as part of a civilizational resilience narrative, praising Tulsidas’s nonviolent cultural resistance to Mughal rule as a template for modern revival.
