Uttar Pradesh to Celebrate 76th Foundation Day with Awards and Cultural Events
The three-day festivities in Lucknow and across the state will honor heritage, development, and six distinguished individuals with the Uttar Pradesh Gaurav Samman.
- Uttar Pradesh Foundation Day 2025 will be celebrated from January 24 to January 26, marking the state's 76th anniversary since its establishment in 1950.
- The theme for this year is 'Development and Heritage: Uttar Pradesh on the Path to Progress,' highlighting the state's cultural and developmental journey.
- The main event in Lucknow will feature Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Governor Anandiben Patel, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, with additional programs held statewide.
- Six individuals from diverse fields, including physics, entrepreneurship, and agriculture, will receive the Uttar Pradesh Gaurav Samman, each awarded ₹11 lakh, a certificate, and a shawl.
- The celebrations will include exhibitions, seminars, cultural programs, and tributes to figures such as Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Birsa Munda, and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, alongside displays under the One District, One Product scheme.
