Uttar Pradesh Mandates Monthly Safety Reviews After School Vehicle Crackdown

Authorities have held school management and district transport officials legally liable to sustain child transport safety through new oversight measures.

  • A mid-July drive inspected 46,748 of 67,613 registered school buses and vans, uncovering 4,089 vehicles that failed to meet safety standards.
