  • The state government has allocated an estimated Rs 50 crore to build the 17-kilometre pathway between Vrindavan and Gokul along the Yamuna River
  • The Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad is partnering with the State Forest and Wildlife Department to execute the project and plant indigenous species along the route
  • Fencing, lighting and public toilet facilities will be installed to ensure safety and comfort for pilgrims, tourists and local residents
  • This nature walk is one of 195 initiatives under Mathura Vision-2030, a Rs 30,080 crore development plan with 23 projects already approved at Rs 2,300 crore
