  • The July 9 summit in Lucknow secured ₹3,600 crore in new investment proposals for alcohol production, distribution and related industries.

  • The ISWAI report released at the event valued the sector’s FY 2023–24 market revenue at ₹56,000 crore, equivalent to 2.4 percent of the state’s GDP and supporting 530,000 livelihoods.
  • Excise reforms—including the Nivesh Mitra portal, single-window clearances and digital licensing—helped boost revenue from ₹14,273 crore in 2016–17 to over ₹52,573 crore in 2024–25.
