Overview

• Salaries, along with EPF and ESI contributions, will be transferred directly to employees’ bank accounts between the 1st and 5th of each month instead of going to agencies.
• Outsourced staff will receive a fixed monthly honorarium of Rs 16,000 to Rs 20,000 with three-year appointments and 26 working days per month.
• Reservations will apply for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, persons with disabilities, women, and ex-servicemen, with maternity leave, periodic training, and Rs 15,000 funeral assistance included.
• Outsourcing agencies will be empanelled through the Government e-Marketplace portal, and recruitment will include written tests and interviews to improve quality.
• Officials said the reform addresses complaints of withheld wages and missed statutory contributions across a workforce reported at over 11 lakh in 93 departments.
