Overview

  • The Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Development Authority has formally barred sale and purchase of agricultural land along the redesigned 74.3 km corridor linking Noida International Airport to the Ganga and Yamuna Expressways
  • District magistrates in Gautam Budh Nagar and Bulandshahr have launched detailed route surveys and directed stamp and registration officials to block land registrations within the notified alignment
  • The 120 metre-wide greenfield expressway traverses 56 villages—8 in Gautam Budh Nagar and 48 in Bulandshahr—after its reduction from an initial 83 km to minimise displacement
  • Land acquisition is underway under an estimated ₹4,000 crore budget to secure the right-of-way and fast-track freight and passenger connectivity across western Uttar Pradesh
  • Officials are also evaluating a future extension of the link to National Highway 34 to further expand the state’s high-speed corridor network
