Overview

  • A 1,200 kg consignment of Dussehri mangoes in 400 boxes worth USD 2,992 was dispatched from Lucknow’s Mango Pack House to Dubai importer Vergro Trading LLC.
  • Two Farmer Producer Organisations—Irada Farmers Producer Company and Malihabad Farmer Producer Company—managed the export independently after technical training under the Indo-German AMD Project.
  • The state government led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Horticulture Minister Dinesh Pratap Singh provided support in production, packaging and meeting international export standards.
  • At ₹208 per kg the export price is more than double domestic rates of ₹60–80, promising higher returns for mango growers.
  • If the shipment clears UAE quality inspections, officials plan to boost weekly exports to 5,000 kg and expand direct shipments to varieties such as Chausa and Langra.
