Utah's NHL Team Narrows Name Choices to Six Finalists

The newly relocated franchise will decide between Blizzard, Mammoth, Outlaws, Venom, Yeti, and Utah Hockey Club through fan voting.

Over 520,000 fans participated in the initial round of voting, reducing the original list from 20 names to six.
The final name will be announced before the 2025-26 season, with the team playing under 'Utah' jerseys in the interim.
Ryan Smith, owner of the Utah Jazz, acquired the former Arizona Coyotes for $1.2 billion and moved the team to Salt Lake City.
The team will play its first season at the Delta Center, home of the Utah Jazz, while branding and logo designs are finalized.
Fans have until June 20 to vote for their preferred name from the six finalists.
