- Barnes, who started nine games in 2023 and posted a 6-3 record, has two years of eligibility remaining.
- Johnson, who chose Utah over Michigan in 2021, has three years of eligibility left and had 499 passing yards and 235 rushing yards in 2023.
- Rising, a two-time Pac-12 champion, suffered multiple knee ligament injuries in 2023, but is expected to return to the field in 2024.
- Utah is scheduled to face Northwestern in the Las Vegas Bowl on Dec. 23.
