Utah Quarterbacks Bryson Barnes and Nate Johnson Enter Transfer Portal

Move follows announcement of Cameron Rising's return for seventh season in 2024.

Utah quarterbacks Bryson Barnes and Nate Johnson have entered the transfer portal following the announcement of Cameron Rising's return for his seventh season in 2024.
Barnes, who started nine games in 2023 and posted a 6-3 record, has two years of eligibility remaining.
Johnson, who chose Utah over Michigan in 2021, has three years of eligibility left and had 499 passing yards and 235 rushing yards in 2023.
Rising, a two-time Pac-12 champion, suffered multiple knee ligament injuries in 2023, but is expected to return to the field in 2024.
Utah is scheduled to face Northwestern in the Las Vegas Bowl on Dec. 23.
