UTA Announces Executive Departures and Staff Layoffs

Partner Andrea Nelson Meigs and Sports Co-Head Andrew Thau will exit UTA as the agency undergoes a small round of layoffs.

Andrea Nelson Meigs, a partner at UTA since 2020, will leave the agency at the end of 2024 to pursue other opportunities and spend time with family.
Andrew Thau, who has been with UTA for nearly two decades, is set to depart by year's end but will continue to consult for the agency in 2025.
UTA has made a small round of layoffs, affecting fewer than 10 agents, amid broader industry cutbacks.
The agency added approximately 20 agents in 2024, maintaining its workforce of over 2,000 employees.
