USTA Confirms 14 Teams for Reimagined US Open Mixed Doubles Championship

Two wild-card slots remain open to complete the 16-team draw ahead of the $1 million competition during qualifying week.

Overview

  • Eight teams earned direct entry based on combined singles rankings and six have received wild cards from the USTA.
  • Two additional wild-card pairs will be announced soon to fill out the 16-team field for the August 19–20 tournament.
  • First three rounds will use short-form scoring with sets to four games, no-ad points and match tiebreaks, while the final returns to traditional sets to six with a 10-point decider.
  • The champions will split a $1 million purse at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
  • Star pairings include Jannik Sinner with Emma Navarro and Carlos Alcaraz with Emma Raducanu alongside wild-card duos featuring Venus Williams and Novak Djokovic.
