USPS Unveils Two Muhammad Ali Forever Stamps, Sets Jan. 15 First-Day Event in Louisville

The issue recognizes the three-time heavyweight champion’s humanitarian legacy.

  • The free first-day-of-issue ceremony is scheduled for Jan. 15, 2026, at noon EST at the University of Louisville’s L & N Federal Credit Union Stadium, Angel’s Envy Bourbon Club.
  • Attendees are encouraged to register at usps.com/muhammadalistamps, with updates shared using the hashtag #MuhammadAliStamps.
  • USPS says customers can preorder the stamps now via the Postal Store, with broader sales beginning Jan. 15 online, by phone or mail, and at Post Office locations.
  • Officially licensed products will be available through the USPS Officially Licensed Collection on Amazon in addition to standard USPS channels.
  • USPS Board of Governors member Ronald A. Stroman is slated to take part in the event, which honors Ali’s legacy as a champion boxer and global advocate for peace and compassion.
