- USPS will issue the first Muhammad Ali Forever Stamp on Jan. 15 with a public first-day ceremony in Louisville at the University of Louisville’s L & N Federal Credit Union Stadium.
- Sheets of 20 cost $15.60, available for preorder at store.usps.com and at post offices nationwide, with shipping beginning Jan. 15.
- The design features a 1974 black-and-white Associated Press photo of Ali in a boxing pose, selected by USPS art director Antonio Alcalá after reviewing hundreds of images.
- Each sheet also includes a portrait of Ali in a suit to recognize his activism and humanitarian work beyond the ring.
