• USPS recommends for the contiguous U.S.: Ground Advantage and First‑Class by Dec. 17, Priority Mail by Dec. 18, and Priority Mail Express by Dec. 20.
• For Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories, USPS advises Ground Advantage by Dec. 16, with First‑Class, Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express following the Dec. 17, Dec. 18 and Dec. 20 guidance.
• FedEx timelines range from Ground Economy by Dec. 15 to Ground/Home Delivery cutoffs based on transit time (Dec. 17–23), with Overnight by Dec. 23 and SameDay available on Dec. 24.
• USPS also published international and military cutoffs, including many international services by Dec. 9 with Priority Mail Express International as late as Dec. 16, and military deadlines running from Nov. 4 for Ground Advantage to Dec. 16 for Priority Mail Express.
• USPS opened its 2025 Operation Santa program with letters due by Dec. 6 and adoptions starting Nov. 17, and it released Holiday Cheer Forever stamps, sold in booklets of 20 for $15.60.
