USMNT to Host Nations League Quarterfinal Second Leg at TQL Stadium

U.S. Soccer named Cincinnati the home site and framed the Nov. 17 match as the official start of a Nations League cycle that feeds into 2030 World Cup qualifying.

Overview

  • U.S. Soccer announced Tuesday that the USMNT will play the home leg of the Concacaf Nations League quarterfinal at TQL Stadium on Nov. 17 with kickoff set for 7:00 p.m. Eastern.
  • The quarterfinal is a two-leg tie that opens on the road on Nov. 14 and will name its opponent only after League A group play finishes on Oct. 6.
  • Because the United States is second in the Concacaf rankings the team will face the best runner-up from the two League A groups in the quarterfinal draw.
  • Tickets move through an exclusive presale for FC Cincinnati season ticket holders and partner groups starting Sept. 17 with general public sales at 10 a.m. ET on Sept. 18 and the match will be carried on TBS, truTV, Universo, Max and Peacock.
  • U.S. coach Mauricio Pochettino pointed to Cincinnati's strong local support and the team's unbeaten run at TQL Stadium in prior visits as reasons for the choice and the quarterfinal winner will advance toward the March Nations League finals at SoFi Stadium and onward in the 2030 World Cup qualifying pathway.
