USMNT Advances in Gold Cup Behind Ferreira’s Historic Hat Tricks

The USMNT defeated Trinidad and Tobago 6-0 to win Group A in the Gold Cup and advance to the knockout stage.
Striker Jesús Ferreira became the first USMNT player to score consecutive hat tricks in international competition.
Ferreira scored three first-half goals, giving him six total goals in three Gold Cup matches this year.
The USMNT has won 13 of their last 15 matches against Trinidad and Tobago.
The USMNT will face either Canada, Guatemala or Guadeloupe in the Gold Cup quarterfinals.
