USC's Zachariah and Zion Branch Enter Transfer Portal, Marking Major Loss

The highly recruited brothers, both standout players, plan to choose their next school together after announcing their departure from USC.

Zachariah Branch, a former five-star recruit and freshman All-American, announced his decision to leave USC after two seasons where he showcased his speed and versatility as a receiver and returner.
Zion Branch, a redshirt sophomore safety and former four-star recruit, also declared his intention to transfer after overcoming early injuries to contribute this season.
The brothers, who played together at USC and hail from Las Vegas, are expected to select their next destination as a package deal and will be highly sought after in the transfer portal.
Their departure highlights a concerning trend for USC, as nine of the Trojans' top 12 recruits from Lincoln Riley's first three years have now transferred.
USC's football program, coming off a disappointing 6-6 season, has seen 18 players enter the transfer portal this offseason, including several top receivers and other key contributors.
