  • On June 26, U.S. Attorney David Metcalf announced the arrest of Amara Dukuly in Brookhaven, Pennsylvania, on a criminal complaint charging him with bribery of a public official.
  • The complaint alleges that from 2015 through June 2025, Dukuly extracted payments in exchange for promises to secure green cards, work authorizations and visas.
  • Court documents state that Dukuly lacked the authority to grant the promised immigration benefits and diverted the bribe money for his personal use.
  • The investigation is being conducted by the Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General, Homeland Security Investigations and the FBI.
  • Dukuly is presumed innocent until proven guilty and the legal process is ongoing.
