The alleged attacker has been described as a thin Black male, aged between 25 and 35, with black hair and a beard.
Lyft has stated that they have not been able to identify a report or ride matching the victim's description, and thus cannot confirm that the crime happened on their platform.
The Los Angeles Police Department and the USC Department of Public Safety are both investigating the incident, urging anyone with information to contact them.
