- StormBreaker weapons have completed 28 successful test drops in 2023 and are currently being tested on all variants of the F-35.
- The contract includes additional all-up rounds, containers and trainers and is expected to be completed by August 2028.
- The StormBreaker is an air-launched missile that uses navigational guidance technologies to strike its targets, even in poor visibility situations.
- The modified contract also involves foreign sales of the weapons to Norway, Germany, Italy and Finland.
