  • Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone will forgo her signature 400m hurdles to run the 400m flat, where she must place in the top three to qualify for Tokyo.
  • Noah Lyles and Sha’Carri Richardson each hold automatic Tokyo entry with byes, as Lyles races both sprints for sharpness and Richardson arrives without a sub-11-second 100m time this season.
  • Athing Mu-Nikolayev returns to the women’s 800m in Eugene in a comeback effort after missing the 2024 Olympic team due to a hamstring injury.
