Overview
- The NYSE and Nasdaq will be closed Monday, Sept. 1, and will reopen Tuesday, Sept. 2.
- U.S. bond trading will also pause Sept. 1 per SIFMA, with normal hours resuming Sept. 2.
- The next closure is Thanksgiving, with both markets shut Thursday, Nov. 27, and early closes Friday, Nov. 28—bond trading ending at 2 p.m. ET and the NYSE at 1 p.m. ET.
- The bond market also observes Columbus Day on Monday, Oct. 13, and Veterans Day on Tuesday, Nov. 11.
- Christmas remains a full market holiday on Thursday, Dec. 25.
