American team breaks previous record by over a second in the opening heats, securing a place in the finals.

Team finished in 3 minutes, 7.41 seconds, surpassing the 2023 World Championships record.
Runners included Vernon Norwood, Shamier Little, Bryce Deadmon, and Kaylyn Brown.
France, Belgium, and Jamaica also set national records in the same heat.
