Overview
- United States law sets the end of Daylight Saving Time for Sunday, November 2, 2025 at 2:00 a.m., when clocks move back to 1:00 a.m.
- Arizona and Hawaii, along with American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, do not observe the November shift.
- Spain will revert to winter time the night of October 25–26, setting 03:00 to 02:00 (02:00 to 01:00 in the Canary Islands), under a BOE schedule in force until March 29, 2026.
- Mexico’s November 2 rollback applies only in designated northern border municipalities under Article 5 of the Ley de los Husos Horarios; the rest of the country makes no change.
- Efforts to make DST permanent continue without federal approval in the U.S.—including Texas’ push and calls from President Donald Trump—while experts question energy gains and warn of health risks from clock changes.
