US Men's Soccer Team to Face Costa Rica in January Friendly

The match in Orlando follows a training camp under new coach Mauricio Pochettino and will feature mostly MLS players.

The United States men's national soccer team will play a friendly against Costa Rica on January 22 at Inter&Co Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
This match is part of two friendlies scheduled in Florida, with the first against Venezuela on January 18 in Fort Lauderdale.
Both games fall outside FIFA's international match calendar, meaning the roster will primarily consist of MLS players and younger talent.
The friendlies are part of the team's annual January training camp and will help prepare for the 2025 CONCACAF Nations League Finals, Gold Cup, and 2026 World Cup.
New head coach Mauricio Pochettino, who took over in September, aims to evaluate domestic talent and build momentum following his debut win against Panama in October.
