US Men's Basketball Announces Team, Roster for Upcoming World Cup

USA Basketball unveiled its 12-man roster for the upcoming FIBA World Cup, to be held in the Philippines.
The roster includes young NBA stars such as Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, Mikal Bridges, and Brandon Ingram, as well as veterans like Jaren Jackson Jr. and Bobby Portis.
The team will gather in Las Vegas for training camp before beginning World Cup play on August 26 against New Zealand.
Coached by Steve Kerr and other top NBA assistants, Team USA will be looking to win its sixth FIBA World Cup.
Finishing first or second in the Americas region at the World Cup will qualify the U.S. for the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
