U.S. Marshal Arrested in UK on Drunkenness and Misconduct Charges

The Marshal, identified as Michael Brereton, 39, was reported by the flight crew for onboard disruptions and was arrested upon landing at Heathrow Airport.
London police stated that the marshal was disruptive and had sexually assaulted other passengers and crew, although no sexual assault charges have been filed yet.
A second deputy aboard the plane was briefly detained but has since been released and returned to the U.S.
The U.S. Marshals Service stated that they are taking the allegations of misconduct seriously and are cooperating with British law enforcement.
