Overview
- Indiana State Police said a semi loaded with U.S. mail struck a pole around 4:15 a.m. on the northbound I-65 ramp to eastbound I-80/94, causing the trailer to split open.
- As of about 7:10 a.m., northbound I-65 was blocked from the off-ramp to westbound I-94, with officials estimating three to four hours for reopening.
- TrafficNet reported all vehicles were being diverted to westbound I-80/94, and Sgt. Glen Fifield advised using Ridge Road to Ripley to reach eastbound I-94 or the Toll Road.
