U.S. Fugitive Nicholas Rossi Extradited from Scotland to Face Rape Charges

Nicholas Rossi, a U.S. fugitive who allegedly faked his own death to evade rape charges, has been extradited from Scotland to Utah.
Rossi, who has used multiple aliases including Nicholas Alahverdian and Arthur Knight, was arrested in Scotland in 2021 while seeking treatment for COVID-19.
He had previously claimed to be an Irish orphan named Arthur Knight in an attempt to avoid detection.
Rossi is wanted in Utah for a rape allegation dating back to 2008, and also faces multiple complaints of domestic violence in Rhode Island.
Rossi had previously made a name for himself as a critic of Rhode Island's Department of Children, Youth and Families, and had allegedly faked his own death in 2020.
