- Officials cited bombings, IED attacks, shootings and organized assaults from 2018 to 2025, including Greek IED incidents in 2024 and 2025 and assaults tied to Antifa Ost in Germany and Budapest.
- Antifa Ost was designated a terrorist group by Hungary in September, and German prosecutors have charged seven people linked to attacks associated with the network.
- Republican allies such as Sen. Eric Schmitt praised the action, while experts and some foreign officials question applying FTO tools to decentralized anti-fascist networks.
