U.S. Department of Education Opens Antisemitism Investigations at Multiple Universities

- Richard Painter, a law professor at the University of Minnesota, and Zachary Marschall, a professor at the University of Kentucky, are among those who filed the complaints.
- More than 50 Title VI “shared ancestry” investigations have been opened since the Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Israel.
- The Department of Education is also investigating two large Bay Area public school districts where families have cited antisemitism concerns.
