The seizure occurred during a secondary inspection of a vehicle driven by a 34-year-old man through the SENTRI lane.
Operation Apollo, initially focused on fentanyl, has expanded its scope to target broader drug smuggling activities.
The methamphetamine was discovered using non-intrusive imaging technology and confirmed by a K-9 unit.
The suspect has been handed over to Homeland Security Investigations for further inquiry.
