• The Treasury’s OFAC added Viviane Barci de Moraes to its sanctions list, freezing any U.S.-linked assets and prohibiting transactions with U.S. persons.
• Family-linked entities, including the Barci de Moraes law firm and Lex Instituto de Estudos Jurídicos, were also designated.
• Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said the measures seek to hold Moraes accountable and to target those providing material support.
