US Announces $336 Million in Humanitarian Aid for Gaza and West Bank

The funding aims to provide essential services and emergency shelter for Palestinians amid ongoing conflict.

The United States will provide nearly $336 million in additional humanitarian assistance to Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.
The aid will support food assistance, healthcare, nutrition, psychosocial services, and increased access to safe drinking water and sanitation.
Emergency shelter for displaced Gazans ahead of winter is also a key component of the funding.
The conflict, which began last October, has resulted in severe humanitarian crises, with over 41,000 Palestinians killed and 2.3 million displaced.
Efforts by the US, Qatar, and Egypt to broker a ceasefire and release hostages held by Hamas have so far been unsuccessful.
