- Beihang Valencia Polytechnic Institute has begun academic activity with nearly 400 students enrolled across four bachelor degrees and six master’s programs taught in English, including about 80 students from Valencia.
- The BVPI is the first permanent Spanish university centre in China officially recognised by Spain’s ministry for universities and will offer jointly developed degree, master’s and planned doctoral programmes with Beihang University.
- A UPV delegation in Hangzhou met senior teams from Geely and Unitree and announced it will advance a framework agreement with Geely on training, artificial intelligence and innovation while continuing follow‑up work with Unitree.
- The developing Geely framework is expected to cover joint training, tailored company courses, updates to curricula, internships and research challenges that could lead to collaborative projects or patents.
- The institute embeds Valencian higher education into Hangzhou’s tech ecosystem and is meant to boost two‑way student mobility, deepen applied research links and support regional industrial ties such as Geely’s commercial moves linked to Almussafes.
